Shawnee Environmental Services, Inc. is offering on-line DOE Core testing via approved proctor at your location. You will have 3 opportunities to pass the 100 question exam for the cost of $250. If examinee fails, the examinee can choose whether to take individual Core modules as remedial course prior to taking the next two DOE Core Exams. The examinee would have 3 opportunities to pass the 20 question Core modules for $45 each. If an examinee fails any of the DOE RCT Core or Site Exams (same exam module or Overall exam 3 times), they will not be able to complete their qualification with SES, Inc. until six months has passed the date of failures.
Proctor registration:
The proctor can be a CHP, NRRPT, or Notary Public. For the Notary we need the registration number and its expiration. For the CHP or NRRPT individual, we will need a scanned or faxed copy of their certificate or wallet card. This information is to be emailed from the proctors email address. Once we approve the proctor, the instruction below are for proctoring the DOE Core exam.
The Proctor is to verify the examinee by picture ID. The Proctor will send an email before the test is started and an email when the test is complete with the score noted. The examinee is allowed a chart of nuclides, nonprogramable calculator, and a conversion table from our website https://www.shawneerct.com/manuals/SES%20Full%20Services%20Shawneerct.com.pdf at the "How Site Works" tab. Look under the bookmarks tab in this acrobat reader document. The examinee may take the test at any time with your presence. SES, Inc. will not honor an examination passing score if the proctor does not send email at start and end (with score). If examinee passes the exam, the proctor needs to send email verifying the test score.

Rad Worker I
Rad Worker I Training Program is intended for a radiological worker whose job assignments require unescorted access to Radiological Buffer Areas, Radiation Areas, or Radioactive Materials Areas. The RW I program consists of the core academic material plus the appropriate practical factors (donning and doffing) evaluation and lessons learned. Requalification consists of viewing video of donning and doffing, passing quiz for donning and doffing ($30.00), then passing 40 question proctored Overall Rad Worker I Exam ($70.00).

Rad Worker II
Radiological Worker II Training Program is intended for a radiological worker whose job assignments involve unescorted entry to High Radiation Areas, Contamination Areas, High Contamination Areas and Airborne Radioactivity Areas. Further, workers who have potential contact with hot particles or use of glove-boxes with high contamination levels should complete Radiological Worker II training evaluation (donning and doffing). Requalification consists of viewing video of donning and doffing, passing quiz for donning and doffing ($30.00), then passing 50 question proctored Overall Rad Worker II Exam ($70.00).

Rad Worker I and Rad Worker II Initial Qualification Courses: $240 and $280 respectively.
Course progression: Complete each module by:
1) Reviewing lesson plan material, then take 10 question quiz. Passing is 80 percent. The student has three chances to pass each quiz, if student fails any module three times, they will be unable to complete training for six months.
2) After passing all modules, the student is required to obtain a proctor for the Overall Rad Worker Exam (50 questions for Rad Worker II or 40 questions for Rad Worker I). The proctor can be a notary public, CHP, or NRRPT. To be approved as a proctor: the student needs to have the potential proctor send an email from the proctor's email address with the student's name in the subject, such as Proctor for John Smith. SES, Inc. will need a fax or scanned copy of certification with printed name of proctor. The fax number is 202-351-0511. Our email address is admin@shawneerct.com. Once we have approved your proctor, then we will enable your Userid which will allow you and proctor to arrange a time to take the proctored exam. The three chances for the Overall Rad Worker exam is the same with a third failure causing the student to have to retrain in six months. If you have any further questions call 937-572-9704.
3) Once all modules, Overall Rad Worker Exams, and donning and doffing are passed, the SES HAZWOPER/IH Student Acknowledgement Form is located by going to the Section List for all the Training Sections or looking above on the page, click on Edit Account Information and Training Report. Then click on Go to Training Report. Press the Button for the Student Acknowledgement Form. Next fill out and submit the document to receive your electronic certificate. 4) Requalification Personnel may challenge the Overall Rad Worker II exam, but still need to take the Donning and Doffing video and pass exam. The Overall Rad Worker Study Guide is located at module 10. Pay for module and download acrobat reader document.

Nuclear Operators Fundamentals
(GFES) Training
The Generic Fundamentals Examination Section (GFES) is the first in a series of examinations administered by the NRC to reactor operator (RO) and senior reactor operator (SRO) license applicants at U.S. nuclear power plants under the regulatory authority of the NRC. Examinations are administered quarterly in the months of March, June, September, and December of each year. The date of the examination occurs on the first Wednesday, following the first Sunday, in the above months.
SES, Inc. is offering GFES Instructor Services for preparation of nuclear exams which include our own testing and statistical analysis of modular quizes for each module of the three phases of PWR and BWR sections, including a section exam for Reactor Theory, Thermodynamics, and Components. After successful completion of all modules and Section Exams, the student will take an Overall GFES Exam thru SES, Inc. GFES Instruction:
Our instruction can be done by in-person instruction with your testing, in-person our testing, via our live web conferencing your testing, via our live web conferencing our testing, via our challenge exams for our Proctored Section Exams and Proctored Overall GFES Exam tested online at our website.

SES's 100% instructor led distance learning GFES course will be offered in the near future. This will offer the utility more flexibility and a lower price. This is not computer based training but an instructor led course with the instructor continuously available conducting live instruction and providing individual input and assistance for each candidate.
Our website also offers proctored exams for the Section and Overall GFES Exam. Our website has the capability of allowing the approved proctor at your facility to select questions from our database or have our database generate a random test. In addition our website allows class analysis of each question and overall class performance for each exam.

D. The approved Proctor will have online access to setup quiz by each question selection or random generation. The Proctor will also have access to question by question analysis for each student and overall class comparison from one exam to another. This is a viewable and printable analysis report.
Materials:
The facilities training materials and procedures shall be used during the presentation of this course of instruction.
Support:
The facility shall provide the following:
A. Intranet Access to training department procedures, training material, exam database and other materials as appropriate to this work.
B. A work area at the facility.
C. A facility instructor to provide a technical review of all the weekly quizzes and In-house exam.
Site Access:
Unescorted access to the protected area is not required.
Compensation:
A fixed price proposal is provided at your request. (There are small variances in price depending upon the facilities location and facility specific requirements.)
Payment schedule:
The fixed cost of these services is billable on the following schedule:
1. On or about the first day of instruction one-half the fixed price is billable.
2. On or about the day the in-house exam is administered one-half the fixed price is billable.
